Award-winning composer Kent Wheeless has been keeping busy scoring for many film projects, including the feature Morbid, produced by New Zealand Son Films; The Vampire Next Door, directed by video artist Sean King; as well as for the soon-to-be distributed horror film, The Fiend of the Mountains.
His music recently garnered attention by winning the award for best score at the Charlotte 48 Hour Film Project, with the short called @Tori_Love.
Kent studied film and graphic design at Western Carolina University where he earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and advertising.
At present he is scoring an upcoming Schopix series to be broadcast on YouTube called Tales of Finch.
A self-described massive film geek, Kent also heads a postproduction startup house called Kaleido-Boom, LLC, out of North Carolina.
